Glyká-Sweets hand crafts each cookie and each phyllo pastry with the same patience and care that Yiayiá Lilly used. When Yiayiá Lilly baked, every koulouráki was twisted in the same direction, so her grandson could best dunk his cookie in milk. Kourambiédes were renamed “cookies-white” when the grandkids were young and couldn’t pronounce four-syllable words. With patience and care, Glyká-Sweets uses traditional recipes that were handed down from Yiayiá.
