Baklavá is a traditional Greek dessert made by layering lightly buttered phyllo pastry sheets, alternating with layers of cinnamon-spiced walnut filling. We hand score our baklavá trays before baking to a crisp golden brown. The baklavá is topped off with a simple, honey syrup that is infused with juice from our homegrown Meyer lemons, and spiced with cinnamon and clove. Baklavá keeps for many months and may be frozen to be enjoyed at a later time. Serve it alone or with a side of vanilla ice cream.
