Tsouréki Loaf is a sweet yeast bread that, like many yeast breads, requires two risings. Our Tsouréki Loaf is flavored with traditional mahlepi and mastica, and sprinkled with sliced almonds. Mahlépi is an aromatic spice derived from the seed of the St Lucie cherry and Mastíca is a resin from the mastic tree which only grows on the island of Chios in Greece.
Tsouréki is made in specific shapes at Easter, Christmas and New Year’s. Tsouréki Loaf is available year-round.
