BAKLAVA, WITH CHOCOLATE
A Greek classic, with chocolate! Baklavá is made with layers of paper-thin phyllo pastry sheets and cinnamon-spiced walnut filling, topped with a honey syrup and drizzled with chocolate. Rolled baklavá (Saraglí) also contains chocolate chips.
An Italian classic! Cannoli are made with crisp, tube-shaped, fried pastry shells that are filled with sweetened ricotta cheese and chocolate chips and dusted with powdered sugar.

Bougátsa is a phyllo pastry that is made throughout Greece. The flavor of the bougátsa filling varies among the different regions of the country. Our version of Cretan Bougátsa is filled with tangy goat cheese and cream cheese and is served as individual rolls, similar to our Galaktoboúreko rolls.
Galaktoboúreko (pronounced ga-lak-to-BOO-re-ko) is a favorite Greek traditional phyllo dessert with a custard filling, bathed in syrup. Galaktoboúreko is available in a tray or as individual rolls.
Xerotígana (pronounced kse-ro-TEE-ga-na) are crisp, fried pastries. In Crete they are fried in the shape of rosettes, strips or hearts, dipped in a honey syrup and sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds, ground walnuts and cinnamon. It is traditional in Crete to offer Xerotígana to guests at weddings, baptisms and other joyful celebrations.
