Baklavá is a traditional Greek dessert made by layering lightly buttered phyllo pastry sheets, alternating with layers of cinnamon-spiced walnut filling. We hand score our baklava trays before baking to a crisp golden brown. The baklava is topped off with a simple, honey syrup that is infused with juice from our homegrown Meyer lemons, and spiced with cinnamon and clove.
Baklava keeps for many months and may be frozen to be enjoyed at a later time. Serve it alone or with a side of vanilla ice cream.
Tray of 40 3″-triangle pieces of baklavá, about 6 lb 8 oz.
